No finish and no varnish.
Just to have an idea of different model of cajon .
He has been crafting all kinds of percussion instruments for 35 years cajons, djembes, ashikos, udus, frame drums, bass drums, bongos, and more and has devoted much of his life to sound research and the creation of unique instruments.
About :
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo to a Cypriot father and a Belgian mother, I grew up in the DRC where I spent much of my life. There I learned Lingala an African language of the Congo and began studying percussion with local masters, especially the ngoma. At the same time I started making percussion instruments to explore and create unique sounds. Today, with 35 years of experience, I craft cajons, djembes, ashikos, udus, frame drums, bongos and many more—blending tradition and sound research to deliver authentic, original instruments.
