1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Campus OS mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in or affiliated with a college or university to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Description of Service

Campus Intel provides:

• AI-powered search for campus information and student tips

• Crowdsourced "hacks" and recommendations submitted by students

• Event aggregation from third-party sources

• AI-generated itinerary planning

• Community question and answer forum

• Premium subscription features (Campus Pro)

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

• You may create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In

• You must provide accurate and complete information

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4.2 Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately

5. Subscriptions

5.1 Campus Pro Subscription

We offer two subscription tiers:

• Monthly Subscription: $4.99 per month

• Annual Subscription: $39.99 per year

5.2 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

• Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your device's Account Settings after purchase

• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period

• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5.3 Free Trials

• We may offer free trial periods for new subscribers

• If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription

• Free trials are limited to one per user

5.4 Refunds

• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store

• Refund requests must be directed to Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies

• We do not provide refunds directly

5.5 Changes to Pricing

• We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time

• Price changes will not affect current subscribers until their next renewal period

• You will be notified of price changes in advance

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Your Content

• Users may submit "hacks," tips, questions, answers, and other content ("User Content")

• You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in your User Content

• By submitting User Content, you grant Campus Intel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your User Content in connection with the App

6.2 Content Guidelines

You agree NOT to submit User Content that:

• Is false, misleading, or inaccurate

• Violates any third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights)

• Contains hate speech, threats, or harassment

• Promotes illegal activities

• Contains spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation (unless explicitly permitted)

• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code

• Impersonates any person or entity

6.3 Content Moderation

• We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at our sole discretion

• We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or for any other reason

• We are not responsible for User Content submitted by others

6.4 Vouching System

• Users may "vouch" for hacks to verify their accuracy

• Vouches represent the vouching user's opinion only

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of vouched content

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, features, functionality, text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Campus Intel and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

7.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written permission

• Access the App using automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.)

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 Integration

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• OpenAI (for AI-powered features)

• Ticketmaster and Eventbrite (for event data)

• Google Places (for location data)

• Firebase (for data storage and analytics)

8.2 Third-Party Terms

Your use of these integrated services may be subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8.3 External Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not endorse or control these external sites and are not responsible for their content.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

• Collect or store personal data about other users

• Impersonate any person or entity

• Use the App to distribute unsolicited advertising or spam

10. Feedback and Suggestions

If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App ("Feedback"):

• We may use your Feedback without any obligation to you

• You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate your Feedback into the App

• We have no obligation to implement any Feedback

• You will not receive any compensation or credit for Feedback

11. Disclaimers

11.1 No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11.2 User Content

• We do not verify the accuracy of User Content

• User Content represents the opinions of individual users, not Campus Intel

• You use User Content at your own risk

11.3 Service Availability

• We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice

• We are not liable for any interruption of service

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• CAMPUS INTEL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES

• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY

• SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY, SO THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Campus Intel, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the App

• Your User Content

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any third-party rights

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms

• Fraudulent or illegal activity

• At our sole discretion

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately

• All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

16.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16.2 Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, New York for any disputes arising out of these Terms or the App.

16.3 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules, except where prohibited by law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Campus Intel regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements.

19. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.
