Welcome to Privacy Shield Pro! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Privacy Shield Pro browser extension ("Extension," "Service," "we," or "our"). By installing or using Privacy Shield Pro, you agree to these Terms.

If you don't agree with these Terms, please don't use the Extension.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Privacy Shield Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the Extension, whether you use the free version or Pro version.

2. Description of Service

Privacy Shield Pro is a browser extension that provides privacy protection features including:

Free Features:

• Basic tracker blocking (15+ trackers)

• Cookie auto-deletion

• Basic fingerprinting protection (Canvas & WebGL)

• WebRTC IP leak prevention

Pro Features (Paid):

• Advanced tracker blocking (46+ trackers total)

• Advanced fingerprinting protection (Audio, Font, Battery API, etc.)

• User agent rotation

• Timezone spoofing

• Screen resolution masking

• Clipboard protection

• Additional premium features

3. License to Use

Free Version

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the free version of Privacy Shield Pro for personal use.

Pro Version

Upon purchasing a Pro license, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use all Pro features for the duration of your subscription (one year from purchase date).

Pro License Terms:

• One license per installation

• Valid for one year from purchase date

• Non-transferable to other users

• Must be renewed annually for continued access

4. Account and License

Free Version

No account or registration required.

Pro Version

• Purchase Required: Pro features require a valid license purchased through Gumroad

• License Key: You'll receive a unique license key via email after purchase

• Activation: Enter your email and license key to activate Pro features

• One Device: Each license is for one browser installation

• Multiple Devices: Purchase separate licenses for multiple devices

5. Payment and Billing

Pricing

• Free Version: $0 (no payment required)

• Pro Version: $39.99 per year (annual subscription)

Payment Processing

• All payments are processed by Gumroad, our third-party payment processor

• We do not store or have access to your payment information

• Gumroad's terms apply to all transactions

No Automatic Renewal

• Your Pro license does NOT automatically renew

• After one year, you'll need to purchase a new license to continue using Pro features

• You'll keep access to free features even if your Pro license expires

No Refunds

• All sales are final: We do not offer refunds for Pro license purchases

• Try before you buy: We offer a fully functional free version so you can test the Extension before purchasing

• Non-refundable: Once you purchase and receive your license key, the sale is final

• No exceptions: Refunds will not be granted for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Compatibility issues

  • Failure to activate license

  • Loss of license key

  • Dissatisfaction with features

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

❌ Share your Pro license key with others ❌ Use the Extension for illegal purposes ❌ Attempt to bypass or circumvent Pro license verification ❌ Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension ❌ Remove or modify any copyright notices ❌ Use the Extension to harm others or violate their rights ❌ Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Extension

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership

Privacy Shield Pro, including all code, design, graphics, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Trademarks

"Privacy Shield Pro" and associated logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.

Your Rights

You retain ownership of any data you create while using the Extension. We do not claim ownership of your browsing data, settings, or statistics.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Privacy Shield Pro to:

• Violate any laws or regulations

• Infringe on others' intellectual property rights

• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code

• Scrape or collect data from websites that prohibit it

• No Guarantee of Availability: We don't guarantee the Extension will always work or be available

• No Guarantee of Accuracy: Blocking statistics may not be 100% accurate

• No Guarantee of Complete Protection: While we strive for comprehensive protection, no privacy tool is perfect

• Browser Compatibility: We support Chrome and Chromium-based browsers but don't guarantee compatibility with all versions

10. Limitation of Liability
