Welcome to Jovia (“Jovia,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Jovia mobile application, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our policies, including:
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law (e.g., in-app notice). Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
You may use the Services only if all of the following are true:
1. You are at least 18 years old (adults only).
2. You can form a legally binding contract where you live.
3. You are not prohibited by law from using the Services.
4. You will use the Services for personal, lawful purposes only.
5. You will maintain accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
6. One person, one account—you may not create multiple accounts or share accounts.
We may require age confirmation and may suspend or terminate accounts we believe are underage.
“Your Content” means content you upload, post, send, or otherwise make available through the Services (e.g., photos, bio text, messages).
You represent and warrant that:
- You have all rights needed to post Your Content, and
- Your Content does not violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and your interactions with other users.
Other users’ content belongs to them. You may not copy, scrape, distribute, or use Member Content for commercial purposes, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
All other content and features in the Services (design, trademarks, code, text, graphics) are owned by or licensed to Jovia and protected by law.
- Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, threaten, defame, or harm anyone.
- Promote hatred or discrimination against protected groups.
- Solicit money, gifts, crypto, “allowances,” or any form of financial benefit from users.
- Impersonate others, use stolen photos, or misrepresent identity or age.
- Solicit sexual services or facilitate trafficking or exploitation.
- Send spam, mass messages, harmful links, or malicious code.
- Attempt to bypass safety systems, access accounts you don’t own, or reverse engineer the Services.
- Use bots, scrapers, automation, or unauthorized third-party tools to interact with the Services.
- Encourage or coordinate any activity that violates these Terms.
You may not upload, post, or share content that:
- Is illegal, exploitative, or involves minors in any sexual way (zero tolerance).
- Contains non-consensual sexual content, sexual extortion, or threats.
- Contains pornography/nudity where not permitted by our Community Guidelines.
- Promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities.
- Violates intellectual property rights or privacy rights.
We may remove content and take enforcement action at our discretion.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using the Services, you agree to those practices.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
You retain ownership of Your Content, but you grant Jovia a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, use, copy, display, reproduce, adapt, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and make Your Content available as necessary to operate, improve, promote, and provide the Services (including showing your profile to other users), consistent with your settings and our Privacy Policy.
This license ends when your account is deleted, except to the extent we must retain certain data to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
If you purchase through Apple or Google, the transaction is governed by that platform’s terms and billing rules. You must manage cancellations and refunds through the platform where you purchased.
If you purchase a subscription, it may automatically renew until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your platform account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but typically does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law or platform policy.
If you initiate a chargeback or reverse a payment, we may suspend or terminate your account to protect the platform and prevent fraud.

You may delete your account in the app settings.
We may investigate and suspend or terminate your account if we believe you violated these Terms, misused the Services, or created risk or harm—on or off the Services in connection with people you met through Jovia.
If your account is terminated, you are not entitled to refunds except where required by law. Certain sections of these Terms survive termination (including licenses granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution).
Jovia does not routinely conduct criminal background checks, identity verification, or screening of users. You are responsible for your interactions with others. Review our Safety Tips and use in-app tools like Report and Block.
We encourage users to report violations. We may take actions including warnings, content removal, feature limitations, suspensions, or bans. We do not guarantee that we will take action in every case, or that enforcement will prevent all misconduct.
The Services may include links or integrations with third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for third parties’ content, policies, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing. We do not guarantee compatibility, availability, or that you will find matches, dates, or relationships.
