Precise Systems, Inc April 2025- Current

At Precise Systems, I design and develop highly technical curriculum for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) programs supporting the United States Navy using Adobe Captivate, Excel, and Microsoft Word. I manage end-to-end course production, creating comprehensive training materials including Training Guides (TG), Question Banks (QB), Storyboards (SB), and Lesson Plans (LP) to support effective instruction and learning outcomes.

Tasks:

Design engaging training using sound instructional design and learner-centered strategies.
Collaborate with graphic artists, programmers, and SMEs to build multimedia courseware.
Develop training using Computer-Based Training (CBT) authoring tools.
Research and integrate data sources to strengthen instructional materials.

Designer Quality Assurance Lead

Tasks:

High attention to detail with strong quality assurance and editing capabilities.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of all production deliverables.
Lead point of contact for all products of development.
Mentoring team members through all phases of production, resolving questions, and maintaining and communicating alignment on evolving requirements.

Freelance and Volunteer Instructional Design

Volunteered with the American Red Cross to redesign their volunteer onboarding program and collaborated with corporate teams to develop onboarding learning experiences using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and Vyond.

Tasks:

Design high-impact learning experiences using ADDIE and SAM instructional design frameworks.
Develop interactive Level 1–2 training and multimedia learning assets using modern authoring tools.
Create performance-focused resources including job aids, instructional videos, and learner support materials.
Align content with evidence-based eLearning strategies to improve knowledge retention and on-the-job performance.

Training and Development Specialist

During this time period, I designed and developed curriculum for diverse learners using multiple different learning modalities to enhance retention.

Tasks:

Design engaging training programs that address learning gaps, support retention, and drive behavior change.
Partner with SMEs to develop learner-centered lessons tailored to diverse audiences.
Conduct learner needs analyses to align training with clear learning objectives.
Develop interactive content using real-world scenarios, gamification, and microlearning.
