Are those described in the Gazette notice namely, as being for the common use of the Ngāti
Tamaterā and related sub-tribes.
PROCESS FOR NOMINATING AND SELECTING THE MĀORI RESERVATION TRUSTEES
Process of Nominations of Trustees
All nominees to be present at the meeting.
Nominees will be required to speak about their aspirations for Te Pai O Hauraki
Marae, what they have to offer and what skills they will bring to the Trust.
At least 2 Advertisements of the vacancies shall be placed in the local newspaper
circulating the district and any other free media, 21 days prior to the elections.
All beneficiaries, 18 years and over are entitled to vote at these elections.
Voting will be by show of hands. If there are more nominations than vacant positions
a secret ballot will be held. No proxy voting.
Trustees term of office shall be 3 years rotation policy. Sitting Trustees can stand
again. Trustees replaced at AGM or Special Meetings.
