Players should not refuse a challenge from a player below. If players continue to refuse challenges or are unable to play matches they should be moved down 1 place each time. It is important to encourage competition at all times and try to play everyone within the ladder system.
AT THE END
The winner is the person at the top of the ladder on the finish date the organiser set. The top 3 players in ladder could each be promoted and the bottom 3 relegated.
Ranking system
Our Ladder is separated in 4 categories: Division A, Division B, Division C and Division D. When you subscribe to our ladder you will be placed in the ladder compared to your actual TFL rating (Always starting at the bottom of the category), then you can start to climb on the ladder.
When you are in the Division D you will be able to challenge a player 5 ranked above you e.g: A player ranked number 20 can challenge player number 15th max.
Division C same rules, In Division B, a player can challenge 3 ranked above and division A a player can challenge 2 ranked above.
Regular game format is 2 ATP set with regular ad-scoring, if there is 1 set all, the players will play a super tie break instead of a third set. This game format will make player switch place if the lower ranked player win over the higher ranked player.
Our Ladder will be a basic system of switching place between the winner player and the looser player, if the winner is the lower ranked player. If the winner is the higher ranked player, he will stay at the same rank and the looser player will move down of:
In D & C-Division 2 ranks if he challenge 4 and 5 rank above (or at the bottom of the ladder if the player is already near bottom of the ladder)
In B-Division 1 rank if he challenge 2 and 3 rank above (or at the bottom of the ladder if the player is already near the bottom of the ladder)
In A-Division 0 rank if he challenge 2 rank above (or stay at the bottom of the ladder if he is already last of the division).
Players can choose to play 1 full ATP set with regular ad-scoring format (Due to the lack of court time), in this case the same switching rules will be apply for the winner or the looser.
During the chapter 1, players can challenge each other a maximum of 3 times only. After that players can refuse the challenge.
