Tennessee All State Theatre Auditions
WHAT IS IT? Tennessee All State Theatre is a statewide audition process similar to vocal and instrumental music All State Auditions. Adjudicators are faculty from college theatre departments and local professionals and the process includes a college fair for parents and students.
WHO IS IT FOR? Any Tennessee theatre student grades 9-12 is eligible in four categories: Acting, Musical Theatre, Design/Tech & Playwriting.
WHEN IS IT? Audition dates are, January 17-18, 2025. Registration deadline is November 24th. The All State Conference scheduled for February 22, 2025.
WHERE IS IT? MTSU in conjunction with The Tennessee State Thespian Festival. You are not required to attend the festival to audition. See Audition Information for details
NEW THIS YEAR: Freshmen and Sophomore All State Lists. 9-10 graders will be adjudicated and recognized separately from 11-12 graders. They will still be eligible for the Conferences.
