I am a postdoc in the Rastle lab at Royal Holloway, University of London. The project I am currently working on how statistical learning and explicit instruction interplay to build an optimal neurocognitive basis for reading acquisition. This project is funded by the Fyssen Foundation in collaboration with Kathy Rastle

Previously, I completed my PhD at the ATILF lab (University of Lorraine & CNRS), where I was supervised by Daniel Zagar. This work used behavioural experiments to explore the role of statistical learning in French-speaking prereaders.

My research interests are centered around understanding the cognitive underpinnings of literacy and learning. I am particularly intrigued by the role of implicit statistical learning in early literacy acquisition, exploring how these unconscious processes facilitate the understanding and mastery of reading. Furthermore, I investigate the inner tructure of the world's writing systems, aiming to unravel how their configurations impact literacy development.
