This is a piece of self-care through intentional creativity, a listening to the canvas that took place in the chaos of 2020. Its many layers hold emotive expressions of pain I experienced while in lockdown, trying to reconcile what was going on in the world. The star helps me to remember the universal hope beyond our human experience, while the sacred feminine reaches forth to comfort, reminding me we are never alone.
