Acudetox (NADA protocol)
Acudetox/Nada Protocol (ear acupuncture) involves stimulating five points in each ear to ease symptoms associated with trauma, stress, anger, grief, withdrawal, and cravings. This protocol supports the nervous system by increasing calmness, reducing anxiety, and restoring balance in the body.
Community acupuncture was introduced in the 1970s by the Black Panthers, the Young Lords, and Black activists who combined healthcare, acupuncture, political education, and community support for marginalized and racialized people in their communities. Their practice was inspired by the Barefoot Doctors movement in China.

Dynamic Expansion Stillness from Cranio-sacral Perspective
A one-on-one Dynamic Expansion Stillness session is a gentle bodywork practice informed by CranioSacral Therapy. The session begins with a brief conversation to tune into the participant’s physical, emotional, and energetic state. Participants then lie fully clothed on a treatment table while supportive, non-invasive touch is offered to areas such as the head, shoulders, back, pelvis, feet, and beneath the body.
By attuning to the natural rhythms of the fluid system, the work encourages deep rest and integration. This practice supports nervous system regulation, stress relief, improved sleep and balance, trauma integration, and healing from injury or ongoing pain.
Please wear comfortable clothing and socks. No bare feet.
Massage and Fascia Therapy
Sessions can be adapted to what is needed, whether a classical deep pressure point massage or a more holistic, tender approach that addresses multiple layers of the body, mind, and spirit through gentle touch.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy benefits include increased blood circulation, relaxation of body tension, and relief of muscle soreness. Techniques are applied to the body such as Swedish massage relaxation techniques, ischemic trigger point compressions, stretching, and more.
Myofascial Release
Similar to massage, with skin on skin hand contacts, but with sustained holds of the soft tissues to create fluid pressure that breaks the 'cross links' creating dense, sticky restrictions in the fascia and limit mobility and range. Aims to open up the tissues of the body to promote restore ease, freedom, and movement again.
Osteopathy
The general practice focuses on improving mobility and alignment, easing pain, and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal, adapt, and regulate itself. With more balanced alignment, nerves and circulation can function more efficiently, allowing health to emerge in the body on its own terms and creating greater ease and comfort in movement. Treatment includes manual application, where the practitioner places their hands on the body to engage the body’s tissues. This may involve contact between the patient’s body and the practitioner’s body. This care is well suited for everyday aches and pains, postural strain, stress-related tension, and preventative support. Patients may feel immediate relief following manual osteopathic treatment, though some may experience mild soreness or aching, similar to what can occur after exercise or massage.
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese complementary wellness practice, often understood as a method of energy healing. The practice is intended to promote relaxation, balance, and overall well-being, and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. No touch is used; the practitioner hovers their hands above the body to support the flow of ki (life energy). This practice is done fully clothed, and participants may choose to lie down or be seated in a chair. Some people experience a deep sense of calm or relaxation, some feel warm or cool sensations, and some feel nothing at all - all of which are completely normal. The practice is intended to offer a supportive and relaxing experience.
