Participants may receive one 1:1 treatment (massage, osteopathy, acupuncture, etc.) and are also welcome to join the AcuDetox / NADA circle.

No. Tender Again is a drop-in clinic, and sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
☆ How much does it cost?
Tender Again operates on a pay-what-you-can basis (only if you can). No one is turned away for lack of funds.
☆ How long are the sessions?
Most 1:1 treatments are 30–60 minutes, depending on the practitioner and availability.
☆ What kinds of services are offered?
Services may include massage, acupuncture, osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, reiki, cupping, and the AcuDetox / NADA circle, depending on practitioner availability.
☆ Can I choose my practitioner?
Participants may express a preference, but availability may vary depending on demand.
☆ Who can access Tender Again's services?
We prioritize people who are unhoused and low-income (on social assistance or living below the poverty level <$27,624.
☆ Are children allowed? Can they receive services?
Yes. Children are welcome, and they may also receive services.
☆ Is childcare available?
Yes. Complementary childcare is offered at every session.
☆ Is food provided?
Tea and light snacks are always available. When mutual aid allows, a catered meal may also be offered.
☆ What are Tender Again’s politics rooted in?
Tender Again draws inspiration from the history of community acupuncture used by Black, Latinx, and radical organizers in the 1970s, who combined healing practices with political education and community care. The space is grounded in abolitionist and decolonial values, and is intended to serve neighbours who face barriers to accessing healthcare and bodywork.

☆ What should I bring to a Tender Again session?
You don’t need to bring anything to receive care. All services and supplies are provided.
If you’re able, you may wish to bring:
Comfortable clothing (especially if you plan to receive bodywork)
Water or a small snack
A friend or family member for support
Cash if you would like to make a donation
Home slippers or socks as there are no shoes allowed in the space.
☆ Is the space mobility device friendly? Yes. The space is accessible for people using mobility devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know when you arrive and we’ll do our best to support you.
There are two floors, and so attendees with mobility devices limited to the first floor. The first floor hosts the community space, kitchen, and washrooms.
