Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Tempo Strike (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Description of the Service
Tempo Strike is a drum metronome and rhythm practice utility app designed to help users practice tempo, timing, beat feel, subdivisions, and rhythmic consistency in a clean and focused interface. The App may include features such as:
Metronome tempo control
Time signature settings
Accent beat settings
Subdivision rhythm options
Drum click or practice sound playback
Visual beat indicators
Practice modes, presets, or saved rhythm settings, if available
Local app settings, preferences, and history records, if available
Optional copy, export, save, or share features for practice settings or screenshots, if available
The App is provided “as is” for personal and non-commercial use.
Permissions and Device Features
Tempo Strike is designed to work without requiring account sign-in. Depending on your device and enabled features, the App may request access to certain device permissions or system features, such as:
Internet access for ads, billing, analytics, diagnostics, or optional remote content
Audio playback features for metronome sounds, beat clicks, accents, and rhythm practice
Notification access only if the App provides practice reminders, timer alerts, or related notification features, if enabled
Photos / Media / Storage access only if the App provides save, export, image, or share features that require file access
Microphone access only if the App later provides recording, input detection, tap tempo detection, or audio analysis features that require microphone input
If you deny required permissions, some features may not function properly or may be unavailable.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the App
Use the App to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s data or systems
Misuse the App in a way that may interfere with its normal operation
You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any practice results, settings, screenshots, exported files, or content you choose to save, export, copy, or share from the App.
Rhythm, Audio, and Use Disclaimer
Tempo Strike is provided as a general metronome and rhythm practice utility for convenience only. While we aim to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that tempo playback, beat timing, sound output, visual indicators, saved presets, practice settings, or history records will always be accurate, complete, or error-free in all situations.
Metronome timing, sound playback, and audio behavior may be affected by factors such as device performance, operating system limitations, Bluetooth or wireless audio latency, speaker quality, headphone delay, background apps, battery saving settings, and environmental conditions.
The App does not provide professional music instruction, medical advice, hearing diagnosis, rhythm certification, or clinical assessment. You should consult a qualified professional if you have concerns about hearing, sound exposure, repetitive practice strain, or music training.
Please use the App responsibly. Avoid using loud volumes for extended periods, especially with headphones or earbuds. The App is not intended for emergency, safety-critical, driving, medical, or life-dependent use. Pocket Arcade Studio is not responsible for injuries, hearing discomfort, practice outcomes, losses, or results caused by the use of the App or reliance on tempo, rhythm, or timing information displayed or played by the App.
Advertisements and Purchases
The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or similar third-party networks. We may also offer:
In-app purchases to remove ads or unlock premium features, if applicable
Rewarded ads that may temporarily unlock benefits, if applicable
Premium features such as ad removal, additional sounds, advanced rhythm options, saved presets, customization features, or practice tools, if applicable
All purchases are handled through the official Google Play Store billing system, and refunds are processed according to Google’s policies. We do not provide direct refunds outside of what is supported by Google Play.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will always function without interruption, error, or defect, or that any issues will be corrected immediately. Use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocket Arcade Studio is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
Your use or inability to use the App
Any inaccurate tempo playback, beat timing, rhythm setting, visual indicator, practice record, or saved preset
Any loss of local practice history, saved settings, cached data, app preferences, or presets due to device issues, OS updates, storage limitations, permission changes, or app crashes
Any audio delay, Bluetooth latency, speaker issue, device compatibility issue, export failure, or sharing issue
Any actions or failures of third-party services such as advertising networks, analytics providers, sharing components, or billing services
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may also stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
Updates and Changes
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will take effect once it is posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.
We may also update the App itself, for example through new features, bug fixes, UI changes, performance improvements, sound changes, or compatibility updates.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
