Introduction
Welcome to Tempo Strike (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application Tempo Strike (the “App”).
Information We Collect
(a) Personal Data
We do not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
(b) Audio Playback and Metronome Data
Tempo Strike provides metronome sounds, beat clicks, accent sounds, subdivisions, rhythm patterns, and visual beat indicators for practice.
The App plays audio on your device for rhythm practice.
We do not record your audio by default.
We do not upload your audio to our own servers.
We do not use audio features to collect personal conversations.
If the App later provides recording, microphone input, tap detection, or audio analysis features, microphone access will only be used for that specific feature and only after permission is granted.
If required audio or system permissions are denied, some sound, timing, notification, export, or practice features may not work properly.
(c) Usage Data / Anonymous Technical Data
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage and technical data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data, such as feature usage, button taps, screen visits, selected practice modes, and session length
Crash logs and performance analytics through Google Play services, Firebase, or similar tools, if used
This data is not intended to directly identify you and is used to improve app performance, stability, usability, and reliability.
(d) Tempo Settings / Rhythm Settings / Practice Data
Tempo Strike may store app content such as:
Selected BPM or tempo settings
Time signature settings
Accent beat settings
Subdivision settings
Metronome sound preferences
Practice mode settings
Saved presets or favorite rhythms, if available
Practice history, recent settings, or local records, if available
App preferences related to sound, vibration, theme, language, display, or UI settings
On-device Storage: These records are stored locally on your device.
No Upload by Us: We do not upload your metronome settings, rhythm presets, or practice history to our own servers.
Sharing is User-Initiated: If you choose to share exported text, images, screenshots, or settings, that content is handled by the destination app or service under its own privacy policy.
(e) Local App Data / Settings and Preferences
Tempo Strike may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences, such as language selection, theme options, sound options, tempo display options, rhythm settings, vibration settings, or UI preferences
Local caches and app resources used for faster loading
Saved app state or recent settings for convenience
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar methods. We do not sync this data to our own servers.
(f) Advertising and Billing Data
If the App displays ads through Google AdMob or similar ad networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking premium features. Billing data, including purchase history, is handled by Google according to its own policies. We do not receive your full payment details.
(g) Notifications and Background Features
If enabled, the App may use local notifications or similar system features for practice reminders, timer alerts, session alerts, or other app-related notices.
These notifications are generated on your device. We do not use them to collect personal data.
If the App provides background playback, timer continuation, or metronome-related background behavior, such features are used only to support the App’s rhythm practice experience.
(h) Clipboard / Export / Sharing Features
If the App provides copy, export, save, screenshot, or share-related features, copied or shared content is handled through system services on your device. We do not receive clipboard contents.
If you choose to share tempo settings, rhythm presets, practice records, images, or exported files with another app or service, that destination app or service may handle the shared content according to its own privacy policy.
Data Storage and Security
We do not store user data on our own servers. App settings, caches, saved tempo settings, rhythm presets, practice history, and local records are stored locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services such as ads, analytics, diagnostics, and billing under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure.
Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These may include, but are not limited to:
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services / Firebase – for analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostics, if used
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases, if used
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
