TempLog Pro is developed by Erkan Sen. This policy explains how the native TempLog Pro app handles information.
Summary
TempLog Pro is designed to work locally on your iPhone or iPad. The developer does not operate an account system, analytics service, advertising network, tracking system, cloud-sync service, or backend that receives your operational records.
The app does not sell personal information and does not track users across apps or websites.
Information Stored on Your Device
Information you enter or create in TempLog Pro is stored locally on your device. This may include:
- business and equipment information;
- staff names and locally verified PIN credentials;
- temperature readings and food-process records;
- checklists, cleaning records, incidents, corrective actions, manager reviews, and audit history;
- photos you choose to attach as evidence;
- reminder preferences; and
- subscription-entitlement status verified through Apple.
PINs are not stored as readable plain text. The app stores derived verification data and protects application secrets with Apple Keychain.
Reports, Sharing, and Backup
TempLog Pro creates reports and encrypted portable backups only when you request them. A report, photo, QR label, or backup leaves the app only when you choose a system destination such as Files, Mail, AirDrop, printing, or another share destination. After you share or save a file, the destination you selected controls that copy.
Portable backup files are encrypted on the device using a passphrase you provide. Backup decryption also occurs on the device. The developer cannot recover a forgotten backup passphrase.
Purchases
Subscriptions are offered through Apple StoreKit. Apple processes purchases, payment information, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management under Apple's terms and privacy practices. TempLog Pro receives verified entitlement information needed to unlock paid features. The developer does not receive your payment-card details through the app.
Device Permissions
TempLog Pro may request access only when you use a related feature:
- Camera: to scan a TempLog Pro equipment QR label or capture local photo evidence.
- Photos: to attach a photo you select as local evidence.
- Notifications: to schedule local reminders you enable.
- Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode: to authorize a manager-PIN recovery action you initiate. The app does not receive or store biometric data.
- Bluetooth: reserved for verified temperature-sensor support. The current production release does not expose general sensor discovery.
Camera frames, selected photos, reminder records, and device-authentication results are not uploaded to the developer.
Data Retention and Deletion
Operational data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. Copies you exported to Files, Mail, another app, or another device remain under your control and must be deleted from those destinations separately.
Security
TempLog Pro uses Apple platform protections, local access controls, integrity checks, Keychain storage, and encrypted portable backups. No security method can guarantee absolute protection. You are responsible for protecting your device, manager PINs, backup passphrases, and exported files.
Children's Privacy
TempLog Pro is a business operations tool and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a developer-operated service.
International Use
TempLog Pro can be used in multiple countries and regions, but food-safety requirements differ. Each business is responsible for configuring and following the rules that apply to its operation and jurisdiction.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
