Using your Apple TV Siri Remote, navigate to the widget you want to configure (e.g., Weather, Stocks, Calendar, or News) and click the clickpad center button. Alternatively, you can long-press on the main screen to open the global settings menu.
Navigate to the news ticker widget using the remote arrow keys, then click remote center button to open the source selector overlay. You can choose one of 6 world-class RSS feeds, including BBC News, The New York Times, CNN, Al Jazeera, CNBC, and CBC. The ticker will reload and refresh headlines instantly.
Click the Financial Markets widget to open the market editor. You can configure up to 6 custom slots by entering any valid Yahoo Finance symbol (e.g., AAPL, SPY, BTC-USD, ^DJI). Leave a slot blank to disable it.
This warning displays if your Apple TV is offline or if Yahoo's CDN has rate-limited requests from your connection. Data fetching will automatically retry every 3 minutes. Please check your Apple TV internet connection.

TeleDash does not collect, monitor, track, store, or sell any personal data. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs, cookies, or analytics services.
TeleDash communicates directly from your Apple TV to the following public endpoints to update your widgets:
ipapi.co: Used once on launch to estimate your city name based on your IP address, so the weather widget loads the correct local forecast. We do not store or transmit your coordinates.
api.open-meteo.com: Used to fetch coordinates' weather forecast data.
query1.finance.yahoo.com: Used to pull standard market index values and stock chart quotes.
Public RSS Feeds (BBC, NY Times, CNN, Al Jazeera, CNBC, CBC): Used to fetch standard news headlines.
All network calls are strictly client-side. We do not operate any middleman servers to intercept or store your requests.
Your configuration preferences (such as selected theme, news feed source, and stock symbols) are stored locally on your Apple TV using standard UserDefaults. No data is backed up to any server except your personal iCloud backup (if enabled by you on tvOS).
