These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your download, installation, and use of the mobile application TeleCall - Caller ID & Block (the “App”), operated by Khanh Thanh LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
1. The App
TeleCall is a default Phone app with caller identification and spam-call blocking. When you set TeleCall as your default phone app, you can:
Place and receive calls from the in-app keypad and in-call screen
View recent incoming, outgoing, and missed calls in the Calls tab
See caller ID and an on-device spam-risk label
Block numbers you choose, and screen calls against your block list and the on-device spam list
Look up a number’s spam risk (Number Tracker)
Preview chat notifications (Unseen) without opening the messaging app
The App does not send or receive SMS, does not scan SMS for phishing, and does not write or delete your system call log. Unseen only reads notification previews you already receive; it is not an SMS app and does not require SMS permission.
2. Default Phone app and permissions
Some features require you to set TeleCall as the default Phone app on your device, and to grant permissions such as Phone, Call Log (read), Contacts, and Notifications.
Call Log is used only to display call history in the App after you have set TeleCall as the default Phone app.
Contacts are used to show names and photos for numbers you already saved.
You may revoke permissions or change the default Phone app at any time in Android settings. If you do, calling, in-call UI, blocking, and call history in TeleCall may stop working.
You are responsible for how you use the App as your phone app, including calls you place.
3. Accounts
The App does not require you to create an account or verify your phone number with us. There is no user profile hosted by us.
4. Spam identification and blocking
Spam labels and automatic screening use an on-device list plus numbers you block yourself. Results may be incomplete or incorrect. We do not guarantee that every spam or scam call will be identified or blocked, or that a legitimate call will never be blocked. You can add or remove numbers from your block list at any time.
Do not rely on the App as your only protection against fraud.
5. Ads and third-party services
The App is free and may show advertisements (including Google AdMob, AppLovin, and Meta Audience Network). The App also uses services such as Google Firebase for crash reporting and analytics.
Those providers process data under their own policies. Internet access is used for ads and app services, not to upload your call log or contacts for sale.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the App only in accordance with applicable law
Grant only the permissions you understand and accept
Not use the App to harass, defraud, or unlawfully intercept communications
Not reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the App or its spam list
Keep your device and OS reasonably up to date
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its name, design, and on-device databases, is owned by Khanh Thanh LTD or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the App on your Android device for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that calls will always connect, that caller ID or spam labels will be accurate, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Emergency calling and carrier services remain the responsibility of your mobile operator.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KHANH THANH LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST CALLS, LOST DATA, OR MISSED COMMUNICATIONS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY ZERO IF THE APP IS FREE).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time. We may stop providing the App or change features without notice. If you violate these Terms, your license ends immediately.
11. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). Do not use the App if you are under the required age in your country.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Hanoi, Vietnam shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.
