Effective Date: September 9, 2026
Khanh Thanh LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Android app TeleCall - Caller ID & Block (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use the App.
1. Who we are
Developer: Khanh Thanh LTD
Address: No. 235C Hoang Quoc Viet, Ward Nghia Do, Ha Noi, Vietnam
Email: khanhthanhltd@gmail.com
Play Console contact: info@khanhthanh.store
2. What the App is
TeleCall is a default Phone app with caller ID and spam-call blocking. You can set it as your default phone app to place and receive calls, view call history, identify numbers, and block spam.
The App does not require an account. We do not ask you to register, verify your phone number, or create a profile with us.
The App does not read, send, or scan SMS. It is not an anti-SMS-phishing product. It does not write or delete the system call log (WRITE_CALL_LOG is not used).
3. Information we process
A. On your device (not uploaded by us for caller ID)
If you grant permission, the App reads the following locally to run the dialer and caller ID:
Call log (read only): number, time, duration, and call type, to show recent calls in the Calls tab and let you redial. We use this only after you set TeleCall as the default Phone app, and only inside the App.
Contacts: names and photos, so known callers are labeled. We do not sell your address book.
Phone / default-dialer role: so the App can place and receive calls and show the in-call screen.
Your block list and recent lookups: stored on the device.
On-device spam list: bundled in the App. Spam risk is scored on the device. We do not operate a cloud “community lookup database” of your numbers.
B. Notification previews (Unseen)
If you turn on Notification access, the App can show previews of chat notifications already on your device. This is not SMS permission and does not mark messages as read by itself.
C. Ads, crash reports, and diagnostics (may leave the device)
The App uses the internet for advertising and stability, not to upload your call log or contacts to us for resale. We and our partners may process:
Advertising ID and coarse device info (model, OS, language, country/IP as seen by ad networks)
Crash logs and basic app analytics
Ad impressions and clicks
Partners include Google AdMob, AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Google Play services, and Google Firebase (Analytics / Crashlytics). Each has its own policy.
We do not collect precise location. We do not collect a user profile, email, or phone-number verification for an account.
4. How we use information
Provide default-phone calling, in-call UI, and call history
Show caller ID and spam risk; apply your block list
Show ads and measure that they loaded
Fix crashes and keep the App working
Comply with law
We do not sell your call log, contacts, or personal information. We do not use call-log data for advertising.
5. Permissions
You can grant or revoke Phone, Call Log, Contacts, Notifications, and Notification access in Android settings (Settings → Apps → TeleCall).
If you remove TeleCall as the default Phone app, the App will no longer act as your phone handler. Call history in the App depends on Call Log permission and the default-phone role.
6. Sharing
We share data only with:
Advertising and measurement partners listed above
Infrastructure needed to run ads, crashes, and Play distribution
Authorities if required by law
We do not sell or rent your contacts or call history.
7. Retention and security
On-device call history, contacts, and block lists stay on your phone until you clear app data or uninstall. Ad and crash data is kept by those partners according to their policies.
We use HTTPS/TLS for network traffic the App sends (ads and diagnostics). No method is 100% secure.
8. Your choices and rights
Revoke permissions or uninstall at any time
Limit ad personalization: Android Settings → Google → Ads
EEA/UK: a consent dialog (UMP) may appear for ads
California and similar laws: you may request access or deletion of personal data we hold by emailing us. Call logs we never received on our servers cannot be “deleted” from a cloud account because they were not stored there. Uninstalling removes local App data.
9. Children
The App is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 where that age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
