Kelci Ray is the cocreator of Tech Week for José, and the cowriter for the musical Colored Gray, which was performed in 2022. Kelci has authored various fiction novels, poems, and short stories, as well as edited the musical Liven Up! and Shine! The Musical. Kelci studies English literature at the University of Colorado Denver and is a student editor for the literary magazine Copper Nickel. In moments between writing projects, Kelci enjoys reading, watching improv comedy, and contemplating world domination.
Tyler Thompson is slightly obsessed with writing musicals. He has written three full musicals that have been produced on stage: Liven Up!, Shine!, and Colored Gray which he co-wrote with Kelci Ray and Aubrey Severne. He has also written the music for several short musicals that have been performed at BYU, and wrote the ten minute play Till Death Do Us Part that was staged at BYU's Microburst New Play Festival 2025 and was an honorable mention in the Meyhew Playwriting Competition. His ten minute play Crowded Mind was one of the winners of the 2025 STAged by U playwriting competition. Tyler is a Theatre Arts Studies Major at BYU with emphases in Playwriting, Dramatugy, and Directing.
