Download and place the following installers on your new server once it's created:

Creating a New Server
- Create a new Windows Server (like here)
- Name your Server and Join it to the domain
- Set Static IP
- Go to Server Manager -> Manage -> Add Roles and Features
- Click Next through to Server Roles -> Select "Web Server (IIS)"
- Go through and make sure the selected Roles match the picture and select any that are missing
- Click Next
- Make sure the .NET Features match the picture on the right
- Click Next until the roles and features install
Features
Create a DNS entry for Disco
- Go to your DNS server's DNS application
- Go to Forward Lookup Zones -> Your Domain -> Right Click -> New Host (A or AAAA)...
- Name: disco
- IP: [IP address of your Disco Server]
Install and Configure SQL Server and SSMS
- Install SQL Server
- Install SSMS
Install Disco
Step through the Disco installer. This will create the DiscoService user in AD, and the web service in IIS.
Configure DiscoService User in SSMS
- Install SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Open SSMS and Connect to the Disco Server
- Go to Security -> Logins -> Right Click -> New Login...
- Go to Search and change location to Entire Directory, type discoservice in the box and then click check names and OK
- Go to the Server Roles tab and tick dbcreator and sysadmin and then click OK
Configure Disco
- Open a browser and go to disco:9292
- Name your Organisation
- The SQL Server settings should all be correct, so click next
- Create a File Store Directory on your server and click next
- From an admin cmd run: netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="ICMP Allow incoming V4 echo request" protocol=icmpv4:8,any dir=in action=allow
