In this session we looked at how we can use Redstone to build up some special gates. The great thing about these gates is they are the smallest, most essential parts of every single computer or device ever made!
We looked at an example circuit called a Binary Half-Adder. This circuit is how computer add two numbers together. We managed to do this with an XOR gate and an AND gate.
Next we looked at how to make an electronic combination lock. This circuit lets you flick redstone levers in a certain pattern to open the door. The circuit has the opening pattern of On On On On. If we use an Inverter gate after one of the levers we can change the pattern. We can also add more inputs by adding mroe AND gates.
