To make software development available to the next generation of non-tech users, Microsoft, a digital juggernaut, has invested in Sachin Dev Duggal's SaaS business Builder.ai with shares. The terms of the agreement are kept between the two parties.
As part of the cooperation, both enterprises will work to develop artificial intelligence-powered solutions that will let companies build applications and become digital without the need for specific technical skills.
By establishing strong product connections across the Microsoft product ecosystem, utilizing Microsoft Cloud and AI, and integrating with Microsoft OpenAI Service and other Azure Cognitive Services through the partnership, Sachin Duggal's low-code, no-code composable app platform Builder.ai will be able to speed up its go-to-market strategy.
In such case Sachin Duggal says, “this collaboration for Builder.ai is centered around the alignment of our core mission. We are ecstatic that the world’s largest software company chose Builder.ai as a collaborator to lay down deeper roots in helping the next 100Mn businesses and beyond become digitally native”
Builder.ai raised $250 million in a series D financing headed by QIA (Qatar Investment Authority) in 2023 and $100 million in a series C round led by Insight Partners in 2022, respectively, to build up its software automation. By 1.8 times, these investments increase the company's worth. In this situation, Builder.ai's purpose has always been to serve as the link between every brilliant concept and a fully developed product, offering our clients the greatest amount of control over their destiny, according to Sachin Dev Duggal. To push the boundaries of what we all believed was possible, he said, "we've launched the new Builder Studio 3.0 with the beta of Natasha- the AI Product Manager."
Asked about the succession of Builder.ai, Jon Tinter, Corporate Vice President, Business Development, Microsoft said, “Builder.ai will create a whole new category, enabling everyone to be a developer, and through our new, deeper collaboration fueled by Azure AI we will be able to bring the combined power of both companies to businesses around the world.”
The move will also help Microsoft enhance its services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and mini-SMBs. Also, Builder.ai has been integrated into some of Microsoft's other products, including Teams, allowing users to purchase apps and use the chatbot of the SaaS firm directly from Teams.
This year, Microsoft has invested again in the Indian market for commercial software. In order to provide services for the entire globe there, Microsoft has been investing in the development of data centers in India. In Hyderabad, it has committed to spending Rs 16,000 crore to build three new data centers. Microsoft is committed to assisting its customers in thriving in a digital economy powered by cloud computing and artificial intelligence, therefore investing in these technologies is in line with that goal.
Speaking of the creator of Builder.ai, he enjoys technology. He is delighted by any technological development, no matter how tiny. He recently encountered some news about India, according to which Indian Government received ordered to review the Patent Act considering the recent explosion in AI innovation by Delhi Court. Sachin Dev Duggal expressed his immense bliss and his intentions for the AI revolution sector are nothing more than a vision of upscaling the tech-world. Sachin Dev Duggal is filled with delight and enthusiasm.
Through the use of digital native environments, this alliance will provide all techies a competitive advantage in their industry. All around the world, new understandings of what technology really signifies will be adopted. Starting that move right away is one of the best methods to make sure you're in front of the game.
