Work on structured assignments and projects related to your selected role.

Receive guidance and feedback during the internship.

Portfolio Development

Build projects, reports, designs, content or other work that can contribute to your portfolio.

Professional Skills

Develop communication, documentation, teamwork, presentation and time-management skills.

Networking

Interact with students and contributors from different backgrounds.

Learning Sessions

Participate in relevant workshops, webinars and learning activities when available.

Leadership Opportunities

High-performing interns may be considered for additional responsibilities such as Senior Intern, Team Lead or Project Coordinator, depending on program requirements and performance.

All interns are expected to:

1. Complete assigned tasks and projects.

2. Meet agreed deadlines.

3. Attend required meetings or review sessions.

4. Maintain professional communication.

5. Provide progress updates when required.

6. Maintain proper project documentation.

7. Collaborate with assigned team members.

8. Follow TEW's guidelines and policies.

9. Submit the required final project/work.

10. Participate in the final evaluation process.

Selected interns receive an official Internship Offer Letter containing their role, duration and applicable terms.

Interns receive orientation, guidelines and project/task information.

Complete assigned learning activities and projects.

Performance and submitted work are evaluated.

Eligible interns receive their applicable internship completion documentation.

Interns who successfully complete the applicable internship requirements may receive a:

Internship Completion Certificate

Additional recognition may be provided based on performance and program requirements.

Possible recognition includes:

• Certificate of Appreciation

• Outstanding/Top Performer recognition

• Leadership opportunities

• Recommendation Letter (LOR) for eligible high-performing interns

• Performance-based recommendation

• Student Partner/Campus recognition where applicable

Important Information

The Tech Education World™ Student Internship & Project Program is currently offered as an unpaid, learning-oriented and project-based opportunity.

No stipend or salary is provided unless a particular role or program explicitly states otherwise.

The purpose of the internship is to provide students with practical exposure, learning opportunities, mentorship, project experience and professional development.

Interns are not guaranteed employment, paid placement or a job offer after completion of the internship.

Completion certificates and other recognition documents are issued subject to fulfillment of the applicable internship requirements.

Successful interns may become eligible for additional opportunities based on their performance and available positions.

These may include:

Intern → Senior Intern → Team Lead → Project Coordinator

or opportunities to contribute to:

• Research projects

• Technical projects

• Content initiatives

• Community programs

• Events

• TEW student initiatives

These opportunities are performance-based and not guaranteed.

Is the internship paid?

The TEW Student Internship & Project Program is currently unpaid, unless a specific opportunity clearly states otherwise.

Is the internship online?

Yes. The program is primarily designed for remote/online participation.

Who can apply?

College students, postgraduate students, diploma students and eligible recent graduates can apply, depending on the role.

Can beginners apply?

Yes, selected roles are suitable for beginners. Advanced technical roles may require prior knowledge.

How long is the internship?

Depending on the program, internships may be 4, 8 or 12 weeks.

Will I receive a certificate?

Eligible interns who successfully complete the applicable requirements may receive an Internship Completion Certificate.

Will everyone receive an LOR?

No. LORs are performance-based and may be provided to eligible high-performing interns.

Will I get a job after the internship?

The internship does not guarantee employment. However, high-performing contributors may be considered for future opportunities when suitable positions are available.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Applicants should generally select the role that best matches their interests and current skills. Multiple-role applications may be considered depending on program requirements.
