For this project I optimized my environment design scene.
The project is enormous: about 24GB. Most of it being unused files that I can remove.
This is a part of the world folder. It may look like there is some structure in events and area's maybe. But I can't for the life of me remember what it was about and it does not seem to follow any logic. I clearly didn't stick to it.
Here's a comedic slideshow of all of the enormous files I found.

The lighthouse, of course, gives off light. But that means every few seconds it needs to calculate how the whole scene would change (there is no noticeable effect).
Throughout the scene there are a few lanterns to guide the player. These areas are already pretty bad but sadly can't be baked due to being turned on and off during gameplay. I feel like this is a necessary evil.
The overdraw isn't too bad. The only areas that are bad are the boat to the right and the lighthouse. The rest is okay.
In the wireframe you can see how insanely detailed the island actually is.
And there are some other objects that have way more detail than they need.
The blueprints are unreadable due to the fact I lost passion for the project near the deadline and just wanted to get it to work.
FPS stays at around 40, but has insane lag spikes whenever I look at certain areas.
