FIRST #Like A Girl

Because of our commitment to supporting women in STEM, last year, we applied and were accepted to be FIRSTLikeAGirl ambassadors. In our second year as ambassadors, we are one of 40 FTC teams worldwide to be selected and the the only team in Arizona to be designated as ambassadors. We will be joining our fellow ambassadors in a coordinated social media campaign, celebrating and promoting women in FIRST. 

As FIRST Like A Girl ambassadors, we actively promote the inclusion and empowerment of girls in STEM through social media engagement. We post twice a week, participate in social media challenges, and highlight role models who inspire others to join the movement. FIRST Like A Girl is a social media initiative that encourages girls and women to pursue STEM and become active members of the FIRST community. By showcasing the incredible women of FIRST and sharing their unique stories, we help young girls find relatable role models and gain the confidence to overcome societal pressures. Through this effort, we empower them to follow their dreams, contribute meaningfully to STEM fields, and grow as empowered members of the FIRST family.
