Hi everyone!
My name is Lisa Charow-Jay and I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and assistive technology user and enthusiast! I am also a Certified Educator for Google.
I worked as an IT Technician and Educator at Paul Penna DJDS, a vibrant SK to Grade 8 day school for the 2020-2024 school years.
I previously worked as a Technology Coach for an amazing and impactful company called LEARNstyle teaching learning strategies and assistive technology tools to support students in the special education program. I helped students build self-confidence and independence as they realized their own potential using training tools and strategies.
At Tech Tutoring With Lisa, I help my clients save time and money by teaching them to be digitally organized. I teach general computer skills that people are usually too afraid to ask their family for help with, and make technology seem less intimidating! I patiently explain concepts at each individual's own speed and there is no such thing as a dumb question.
Learn new online programs and general computer skills to make your computer use more efficient and further develop your knowledge with more advanced tips and tricks. All tutoring sessions are personalized to you and your needs, starting with your current level of knowledge! You let me know what you are interested in learning and we will make a plan together to achieve this!
If you do not see something on this list that you are interested in, ask! However, I am an expert in the following:

Through the beauty of online conferencing, we can be connected anywhere in the world. You will need your own device and internet connection and we will video conference so we can see and hear each other on the platform of your choice. I most commonly use Google Meet or Zoom, but we can always discuss it depending on your needs. Screen sharing capabilities are essential! If you do not already know how to video conference, we will start off on the phone and get you signed up for the platform of your choice.
I am offering my Tech Tutoring services to anyone of any age who wants to improve their technology skills. I’ve taught technology tools to kids as young as 6, to my awesome Grandma at 91, and all ages in between! So have no fear, I am very patient and flexible!
