Lukas Burgher
Lukas owns and operates a small engineering and design practice. He has a very diverse background in the design/build industry with experience ranging from structural engineering, residential design, building science, timber framing, fine woodworking, art, and photography. What inspires him most about his work is the rewarding application of skills and interests in math, science, natural history, art, and philosophy to create something that is a basic human need; shelter.
He is very excited to explore the “arts” with students as an exciting way to have fun, learn, and be creative together! We will attempt to explore everyone’s interests. Activities might include; painting, drawing, and photography, as well as designing houses, nature walks, and building robots!
