Our team conducts field visits and interviews in Chinese business districts throughout San Diego. Through conversations with business owners and community members, we investigate current operations and challenges facing Chinese-American entrepreneurs today. 

Under the guidance and facilitation of David, the leader of the House of China, we interview pioneers of San Diego's Chinese business community to document their firsthand entrepreneurial journeys.

After analyzing the interviews with entruepenurs, we plan to construct a handrawn cartoon book (will mass-print at printshops) depicting the struggles as well as history and impact of Chinese immigrants.
