Narnia: Battle of Beruna Nighttime Spectacular!

In a genius move by Walt Disney Imagineering, Hollywood Studios will have not one, but two nightly firework shows! How is this possible? Why would The Walt Disney Company literally set fire to their money? If you are asking these questions, you are missing a key point: Walt Disney Imagineers are intellects! They realized they could make two separate shows with one single pyrotechnics display.

This seemingly earth-shattering concept is made possible by the positioning of the firework launch site. The fireworks for the primary Hollywood Studios fireworks show viewed from the hub, and the fireworks for BoB will both be launched from an iceberg within the lagoon. The launchpad is completely hidden from guest view, as the iceberg-theming conceals it. Each show will have its own soundtrack and special effects.

BoB will have fire effects on Cair Paravel, smoke effects on the ice castle, and several fountains surrounding the iceberg. The fountains are disguised as floating ice. The fountain, Cair Paravel, and the Ice Castle all have shoot lasers around the lagoon. The general premise of BoB is that the two castles are fighting each other in a battle, hence the name inspired after the movie's primary battle. The pathways surrounding the lagoon act as viewing areas for the show similar to World Showcase. Both shows will have their own sets of small pyro, but the primary large pyro effects will be enjoyed by both.

The benefits of having two separate firework shows at the same time are primarily for crowd control and rewatchability. The two primary viewing areas disperse the crowds throughout the park, so there is no need to wait in the hub or the World of Narnia to get a good viewing spot because there will always be sufficient space. If a guest views the fireworks from the hub on their first visit, upon their return, they can watch a brand new show from within the World of Narnia. Generally, after a firework show, there is a mass exodus from the park, but since half the audience is viewing the show from the WoN and half from the hub, the exodus is spaced out, decreasing delays and crowding issues, resulting in an overall better experience to end your park visit.

Below shows how the iceberg is perfectly aligned with the hub and the Chinese theater. The sightline is visualized with a florencent pink box.

Father Christmas Seasonal Meet & Greet

During the holiday season, guests can meet Father Christmas himself outside his shop.

Aslan's Camp

Interactive animatronic at Harmony's Armory and two working dwarves in Chains, Canes, and Gains serve to entertain and intrigue guests within the area. Both features are located in the rear of Aslan's Camp, so they function as a guest magnet, in order to draw guests into the area.
