Very exciting video contains the first CCAG footage of crab molting! Little Lalzo, a juvenile yellow shore crab less than 1 cm wide, molted on April 1, 2023. When we captured Little Lalzo, we didn't expect him to perform 2 molts here at the CCAG. He came here October 2nd, 2022.

The CCAG introduced a common intertidal species, a chiton on June 18, 2023. The Mossy Chiton, aka "sea cradle," is a type of mollusk that is common along the Pacific Coast. It is a relative of the Gumboot Chiton, a larger and more recognized species. The CCAG also introduced new anemones.
The history of the CCAG's Dollhouse. Narrarated by Becky, Blob's Pet Sheep, all it is is some photos of the CCAG pink dollhouse starting in June 2022 and ending in June 2023. Blob aptly chose the song "Scream" by Michael and Janet Jackson be cause she thought it relates to the CCAG's reaction to the AC.

A mini film released July 14, 2023, that showcases the crabs living at the CCAG, hence the name "Intertidal Crabs." The Crabs were filmed in a small plastic container with sand and other items that made them look like the tidepool. We didn't film in the actual tank because there was too much water.
The CCAG replaces their old dollhouse with a new Barry Bronxtin building in October 2023.

The P8 "happy craft" flies steadily for an upcoming December 17-21 2023 trip to Lake Tahoe.
December 23, 2023 - a new banana slug opens up. However, the banana slugs are not in the habitat yet. The only residents of the habitat today are 16 millipedes, Sudsy the snail, Sparkle and Sun the banana slugs (not shown in video) and an isopod or 2. Watch the video to see what we've improved.
The P8 drone was replaced with a high tech Potensic Atom SE drone that is capable of more than the P8 in December of 2023. See the Potensic's maiden (first) flight and camera footage here.

In May of 2024, we introduced Millie, a giant California Native Millipede. We also planted California Native Irises.
Dragonfruits update May 2024! These are some dragon fruit i planted in August 2023, and I am very suprised they can grow in freezing temps like here in SF..
Pet crab dungie was caught May 25. Sandy the Red Rock Crab gets a bigger crab Dungie as a friend. She will be upgraded later.

I brought Yellow and purple shore crabs from Seattle to SF. June 2024
The start of our Hawaiian Reef Tank. We add our first inverts, such as snails and hermit crabs and install the heater July 2024
Hawaii Reef tank update August 2024. We added live rock and sand and stuff. All the hermit crabs and snails are alive and enjoying their landscape. We may or not decide on a couple of tropical fish to put in the tank in the future.

June 2025: renovating our lizard habitat! Added new rock formations and grass for Almer, Francis and Alex.
In order to feed our lizards, we need to yoink their food. Follow along as I yoink some sixspot crane flies (Limonia nubeculosa) from the ol' shed which provide protein for all of our lizards.
