The Jacksons - Destiny (AnimalCouncil remake).mov

Destiny

The first AC film debuted in October of 2022. While driving back home from drum class on a sunny, still day, Rob heard the song "Destiny" by The Jacksons on the radio,  he decided to make a film about it. This was the first film he ever made.

It was made in one hour, and featured clips of the Informal Zoo, and Ryth's Backyard.

Morning Glow

Being released on November 25,  Morning Glow was filmed around Batteries to Bluffs Trail in San Fransisco. Rob based this off of Michael Jackson's Morning Glow from 1973. The film features the Golden Gate Bridge and wildlife in the Presidio.

Corner of the Sky

After Rob picked up a Christmas tree, his family stopped near a beach in Pescadero called Bean Hollow. This is where most of "Corner of the Sky" was filmed. "Corner of the Sky" is the shortest AnimalCouncil film, because it was supposed to be part two of "Morning Glow," which was made a day before.

Push Me Away

The film "Push Me Away" was released months later in December. It captured a rare bomb cyclone  that happened during the month, using a series of timelapse footages. It is the longest AnimalCouncil film.

At this point, Rob switched from filming animals/plants in live action, to timelapses of clouds.

The song "Push Me Away" is in the same album of the song "Destiny."

Note: The following film was shown to 16 people in Rob's class, but the AnimalCouncil leader failed to promote the film.

Reflections

"Reflections" marked the end of the AnimalCouncil film era (Oct 2022 - Feb 2023.)  It features many clips of clouds filmed on the same day. The clouds were expected to form into a storm, but didn't.

Six days after, on Feb 17, the AnimalCouncil did not promote any of the films. Rob from the Informal Zoo said that the AC "was useless, wasting hard work." He also said that "why make a film if no one watches them."
