The conference takes place at the Haus der Wissenschaft on TU Braunschweig’s Central Campus. The campus around Universitätsplatz is about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. Nearby are the Audimax, the University Library, and the historic Main Building; additional institutes are located at North Campus and at the Research Airport.
Founded in 1745 as the Collegium Carolinum, Technische Universität Braunschweig is one of Germany’s oldest institutes of technology. Around 15,600 students study here; the university employs about 3,800 full-time staff (including faculty) and has 244 professors. As a member of the TU9 alliance, TU Braunschweig is committed to excellent research and teaching in a strong regional science network, with interdisciplinary work on future topics such as mobility, the city of the future, and health.
