"I've been using this planner for 3 years. I LOVE everything about it, specifically the ability for me to personalize all the pages I need. I can modify the lesson plan pages to fit the classes I teach. I also like that I can choose the extra pages I use and don't have to buy a pre-made planner with sections I don't use."

"I love the One Stop Planner! I teach 3-4 different high school courses each year and the planner helps keep me organized. The lesson planner is posted digitally for students and admin to see. I was able to edit it to meet my admin requirements. I use other forms to keep track of conferences with students, small group progress, late work, tardiness and absences which are color-coded by class period."

I have used various online and paper teacher planners over the years; some of them have been really useful and I've used them continuously for a few years. However I'm sure like many of you, I like to change things up every now and again, and recently after seeing someone using a spreadsheet for their day planner I thought I'd turn to my trusty Numbers. I love Numbers as an infinite whiteboard, collaborative planning tool, and recently even a vision board for my renovations. I love that I can add images, photos, videos, links and text with such ease, but because I had previously used a third party teacher planner app, I'd never thought of for daily lesson planning.

I love that I can link directly to the lesson material, either online or in my files for easy access when I need it. I also love that I can record evidence of learning within the file; take photos of learning, upload scans, keep marks recorded. Most importantly I love that I can plan out my units in the matrix on the year specific tab (I create my matrix table fortnightly as I teach 7 or 8 lessons a fortnight per course and this allows me to see those two weeks at a glance), and I then simply copy and paste the individual lesson into the timetable planner tab. I can make changes and adjustments as I go, but also easily work from this as a basis for the following year.

So, it just made sense for me to try the Life Planner this year! Of course, I still plan on using my Life Planner to keep track of school events. The great thing about the Life Planner is that I can pack MORE into the weekly calendars. My plan is to have a section dedicated to home, school, and my little side businesses! Now I have to figure out what I want to call each section and order some fun stickers! When my planner arrived, I was happy to see that it had many of the same great features that I LOVED about my Teacher Planner!

With the Life Planner, you are able to choose the layout that you would like throughout your planner- horizontal, vertical, or hourly. I chose vertical so that I could separate the different aspects of my life- home, school, and business! And, do you see the dates are already included! That makes me SO happy!!!

Whether you choose a Teacher Planner or a Life Planner, both options are fabulous! You can use this link if you want $10 off your first order at Erin Condren! These are pretty pricy planners, so any discount is a good one! I promise they are worth the money!

Thanks for posting this, I have gone back and forth a million times on whether I should get the teacher planner. I keep a data notebook with all my student info so I would waste all the checklists in the teacher planner and really like to keep school and personal to do's in one place so I am going to go with the life planner! Thanks again!

Ever since my first year teaching I have used the Erin Condren Teacher Planner. It has everything I could ever want in a planner, plus more! This year they made some amazing changes and I am SO excited about all the updates! In addition, they still have many of the same features that I have come to love over the past several years of using it! If you have never used an Erin Condren planner before and would like to try it out, you can use my referral link to get $10 off your first purchase!

The student checklists are next! I use my own weekly printed student checklists for a lot of things, but I love using the ones in my planner for more important things that I need to reference for longer than a week, like photo releases, field trip permission slips, etc.

The stylized sticky notes are another great add-on for the teacher planner! I am all about jotting things down on sticky notes and these are super cute (love the heart apples!) and fit perfectly in the planner spaces! Plus, it snaps right into the planner!

Bring order to classroom chaos with help from The Teacher Planner. Complete with sections for important dates, a student roster, parent contact information, and weekly and monthly lesson plans, this planner has all the brilliantly designed organization you need.

It's perfect for all teachers (at school and at home), and features blank grids to provide a simple, straightforward space for planning lessons for up to six core subjects. Use it year-round and over multiple semesters for the most flexible lesson planning and classroom structure.

What a great review! I was wondering how the teacher planner would work for a homeschooling family. I already have my school planner for the Fall, but will definitely check into this for the next year.

I am beginning the planning process right now. I am working on the master plans for each course at the moment and have been drooling over the EC teacher planners. Thanks for such a great explanation of how we homeschoolers can make it work for us.

Through all of my trials with different planners, I want to share some things I love about two of my favorites. If you are on the fence, hopefully by the end of this post, you will have gained some clarity on which planner might be best for you.

Both my 4theloveofPi and my EC planner allows me to keep track of school in an organized, orderly way. When I was bullet journaling 1) I had way more free time, but 2) I had to design every single aspect of the page. It was great for me at the time, but with my current crazy schedule, I want to have a planner that I can easily fill in headings, the dates are already there and ready to go, and it will look the same every week.

The 4theloveofPi planner is extremely customizable. You can get it created to meet all of your needs. There are layouts for only one subject all the way to EIGHT! You can also get the subjects pre-printed onto your planner (which is AMAZING). Another GAME CHANGER about the 4theloveofPi planner is the fact that it has the weekends included. I love that I can use one planner for work and personal life, it keeps me super organized.

Something that has become more important to me over the years is supporting small and local businesses, if you buy a 4theloveofPi planner, you will be supporting an amazing small business, which is an amazing plus as well.

Another major difference is that the EC planner only includes Monday-Friday. If you want to use this planner for school and school only, that should work for you. However, if you are like me, and want to use one planner for everything, 4theloveofPi is the way to go.

To buy an Erin Condren planner, without making any customizations, you are looking at $55 plus shipping (unless they are running a promotion). This link can get you $10 off your planner if you create a new account (which just means, use a different e-mail address than you used if you have purchased before). You can grab different colored spirals and accessories and your bill will be run up to $100+ pretty easily. There are some great pens and stickers that you can purchase to customize your planning experience. 17dc91bb1f
