Fair warning: I am a white teacher. There are many wonderful resources created by Black educators that could do this subject more justice than I can. I am offering this series for free because I do not want to profit off of the inequalities in our country that led to this series being created. I figured I would share for others to use as they wish. If you have specific feedback regarding this Google Slides presentation, please let me know and I will edit it.

I taught this to students from a Catholic high school and included some slides regarding LGBTQ+ and Catholicism. There are only 3 slides that discuss this. If you teach students of all faiths, you should delete these slides. Don't worry, the 3 slides are not anti-LGBTQ+.

Content: Social Studies

Content Focus: US History

Grade Level: 9-12

Description: This is a virtual gallery walk. Ideally, you would assign the "Worksheet" one to your students and link to the gallery walk on there. The best way to link to it is to go to Share > Copy Link > at the end of the URL, change “edit” to “present” Doing it this way will show it in "presentation view" which helps make it feel more "interactive" and less like a Google Slide.
