Neural Conversational AI Workshop
What’s left to TEACH (Trustworthy, Enhanced, Adaptable, Capable and Human-centric) chatbots?
Call for Demo Papers
The 2nd Workshop on Neural Conversational AI Workshop - What’s left to TEACH (Trustworthy, Enhanced, Adaptable, Capable and Human-centric) chatbots invites submissions of demo papers showcasing the latest advancements in dialogue systems. Demonstrations can span from early research prototypes to fully developed production-ready ones.
Areas of interest include all topics that encompass different aspects of generative language models for designing chatbots, such as (but not limited to) the topics listed on the main workshop website.
We especially welcome systems that can be publicly released (i.e., open-sourced, free access via api/website) for research community to freely analyze, understand, improve and/or build upon. Submitted systems may be of the following types:
Interactive dialogue systems or system components
Application dialogue systems
Analysis, demonstration, or evaluation software
Software supporting learning or education
Data visualization and annotation tools
Development tools
Please note: Commercial sales and marketing activities are not appropriate in the Demonstrations Program.

Please provide a brief (maximum of 2 minutes) video showcasing the system, which will be used for paper evaluation purposes only and will not be published unless specifically requested.
We suggest you publish your video on a public platform such as YouTube, then share the link in your paper. However, if you do not wish to upload the screencast publicly, please send the video in MPEG4 format. Please ensure that the video is added as supplementary material while submitting your paper through CMT.
Concurrent Submissions
We welcome research papers currently under review at archival NLP and ML conferences (e.g., ACL 2023 Demo Track). Submission to this workshop will not break the anonymity or dual submission policies for these conferences. The workshop is non-archival. Please note that we do allow the submission of previously published work. However, when selecting papers for oral presentation, preference is given to original works.
