Free upcoming online program from Dec 8th to Jan 5th!
This fall, we will be hosting a series of practice rounds/scrimmages between Arizona Speech and Debate teams to bring competitors around the state more varied, higher-quality experience before upcoming tournaments like the Jim Fountain Classic, Toro Country Classic, and Winter Trophy.
We believe practice rounds with teams from other schools can massively expand the exposure competitors get with both speech and debate rounds. Novices can experience a wide range of debate arguments, speech styles, and judges that would otherwise not be available to them outside of a tournament setting. We’d love to see participation in these practice rounds to make opportunities like these more fruitful for programs around the state, particularly those with less resources.
Competitors: Anyone is welcome to compete, regardless of experience level.
Judges: If you are an experienced varsity speech and debate competitor, we'd love to have you as a judge! You can receive NSDA points for service and gain more experience through judging rounds.
