Why We Give

Teaching children to give is a joyful way to help them honor God. Whether it's 1 cent or $1, every offering is a meaningful act of worship. Parents, encourage your child/children to bring their offering each week. It's not about the amount, but the heart behind it. When they give offerings with both hands and a thankful heart,  it becomes a beautiful expression of love and respect for God.  This simple act builds a habit of generosity and gratitude toward God! 

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,  not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."  (2 Chorinthians 9:7)

헌금시간은 하나님을 사랑하고 경외하는 마음을 배우는 소중한 시간이에요. 비록 1센트 혹은 1불이라도 헌금은 중요한 예배의 한 부분이에요. 아이들이 매주 작게라도 헌금을 준비할 수 있도록 꼭 격려해 주세요! 중요한 건 금액이 아니라, 하나님께 드리는 마음이에요. 정성껏 준비한 헌금을 두 손으로 드릴 때, 아이들의 마음과 생각에 올바른 신앙을 세워집니다! 

"각각 그 마음에 정한 대로 할 것이요 인색함으로나 억지로 하지 말지니 하나님은 즐겨 내는 자를 사랑하시느니라" (고린도후서 9:7)
