Our History
Up until 2005, TCNJ Musical Theatre was an organization run by the Music Department on campus. That organization was known as TCNJ Opera Theatre. At the end of the 2005 season, the organization became independent from the Music Department, and put on only one production the season of 2005-2006, Godspell, still under the name Opera Theatre. Then, with the start of the 2006-07 season, the name TCNJ Musical Theatre was adopted and remained since.
