Active Membership

Active Membership

"A member gains Active status through a points system. Points can be earned by attending meetings, being in shows, being on production staff, and by other means as announced by the Executive Board. The current points system will be made public to the membership at the beginning of each semester. Active Membership will be re-determined each semester. Active Membership status will be revoked if an Active Member does not participate and cast a vote in: season selection, narrow-down, main stage, and black box voting, and executive board elections."

An active member is someone who is involved enough in the organization to make informed voting decisions that are best for TMT as a whole. 

The events requiring active membership for voting are: Main-Stage proposal narrow downs, Main-Stage voting, Blackbox voting, and Board elections (and any other need for voting that we may come across).

Active membership points will be accumulated throughout the school year; the total points required for active membership are 14 points. ​

The point system is as follows:

Attend a Meeting - 1 Point

Join a Mini-Board - 3 Points

Audition For a Show - 3 Points

Apply for Production Staff - N/A

APM (Assistant Production Manager) - 3 Points

Lead Production Staff - 5 Points

Assistant Production Staff - 3 Points

Cast - 8 Points

Usher - 2 points per show

Pit Members - will receive points if already involved in TMT

Attend a TMT Event - 1 Point

Participate in Big/Little - 3 Points

Participate in ACTMENT - 3 Points
