Meet the Officers 2022-2023

Hi everyone! I’m Kimberly and I’ll be your Co-President for this school year! I am so happy to be working with the HTH officer team, and I’m excited to meet everyone. 

A little bit about me is that I love to watch anime and read manga (got any recommendations?). I also love to hang out with my friends and drink boba! At the moment, I’m unsure of what I want to do after high school, even though I’m a senior. Let’s just go with the flow! 

Helping the Homeless is an amazing club where we are able to directly help the homeless community and see the positive impacts our club brings. Feel free to invite your friends to our club and events! We love to see new faces! Everyone is welcome to join. If you ever have any questions, or even just need someone to talk to, we are all here for you! 

Hi!! My name is Michelle Montero and I am going to be your Co-President this year. In my free time I love going on sunset bike rides, reading, making art, jewelry, and clothes. I love meeting new people so if you ever need to talk about anything, I am always here with open arms! I appreciate every single one of your kind hearts and what you do for our community through this club :) 

Hey! My name is Martine Sundsten and I am the Vice President of Helping the Homeless this year. I was born in Norway and moved to Florida when I was 7 years old. I really enjoy drawing, playing tennis, and traveling to new places. I’m so excited to meet you all and I look forward to this year! 

Hello! My name is Heart Rirao and I will be the Public Relations Lead for Helping the Homeless this year. I am a Senior that loves to be a part of school clubs such as Asian Student Association, Premed, Beta, and Helping the Homeless, I also love working at my part-time job at TJ Maxx. Some activities I like to do in my free-time are doing manicures, running, and hanging out with my friends and family.  I’m planning to finish my Associates Degree this school year, and go into Forensics for my major in College. I can’t wait to work with everyone this year and be a part of Helping the Homeless Club!

Hey! I’m Abby and I’ll be your Communication Secretary for this year. some things about me is that I’m always I driving around with my friends but never driving the car because I don’t have a permit yet lol. I always love being out and about doing things with the people I love. Always feel free to come up and talk with me I love meeting new people, I’m here for all of you :)

Hi! My name is Eva Edmondson and I will be the Recording Secretary for HTH this year! At the beginning of the year I honestly signed up for a ton of clubs because I just wanted to try everything, but helping the homeless ended up being by far my favorite, and now here we are!! I love the community within this club so much. 

My absolute FAVORITE thing about this world is music, I’m almost always listening to something. I also really love going out to get food with my friends and just spending time with them overall. You’ve probably seen us walking or driving around Avalon at some point because we do literally 24/7.

Ayo! My name is Alexa Armaz and I’m the Historian. I’m lowkey kinda boring but I like making jewelry and gardening. I’m also on the weightlifting team. Right now I’m striving to get into either UCF or UF. I can’t wait to get further involved in the club and if you need anything don’t be afraid to ask :)

Hi! My name is Emely Velicu and I will be your Treasurer for this year. I am in the 12th grade and have been in the Helping the Homeless club since my freshman year, I truly love this club. In addition to this club, I am in the Timber Creek Regiment and in the National Honor Society. After high school, I hope to go to a college (not sure which yet) and study biomedical science. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends or binge watching tv shows/animes. I can’t wait to start working with everyone and for the fun activities that this year will bring <3
