Our active status system is intended to keep track of the members who are regularly active in our chapter's affairs. Members with active status are eligible for voting on bylaw changes, in officer elections, in initiate elections, and other chapter matters. There is no penalty for losing active status, but maintaining it enables members to get discounts on TBP graduation gear (stole, chords, tassel).
The rewards system works as follows:
A member gains “rewarded status” for a given semester if they were initiated that semester or if they earned 4 event points.
If a member earns rewarded status for any semester by earning 4 event points, they will earn a base discount on the graduation stole. If a member earns rewarded status for every semester since they were initiated, they will earn a base discount on the graduation cord.
Once rewarded status is gained, any additional event point earned in that semester will result in a $1.00/1.25 additional discount on graduation regalia for juniors/seniors, respectively.
