Julian Thimme

Julian Thimme is a Juniorprofessor with tenure track at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). After earning his doctoral degree at the University of Münster in 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Goethe University in Frankfurt. His research focuses on the influence of investor preferences and macroeconomic factors on stock prices. His articles have been published in journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Management Science and he was awarded with the Best Paper Award of the German Finance Association in 2017.
