Christian Schlag


Christian Schlag is Professor of Finance at Goethe University and a member of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. He holds a master degree in business economics from the University of Augsburg, an M.A. in economics from Wayne State University, and a Ph.D. in business from the University of Karlsruhe (now KIT). He is an expert in theoretical and empirical derivatives research as well as in asset pricing. His research has focused on the pricing of derivatives, on the informational value of derivative prices, on general equilibrium asset pricing, and on macrofinance models. His work has been published in top-rated journals such as Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Review of Finance.
