Unit 0

Unit 0 overview

In unit 0 I was shown some of the groundwork for CSIT, like different definitions and basic things such as how to create a professional email.

What I did...

•  wrote and sent a professional email to my professor

• learned the interface of outlook and basically every other email interface

• wrote and defined terms like LMS, IS, and UI

• setup my notebook for class

• Learned what an Information system is

• setup my SIMnet for future assignments

What I learned...

• Learned how to make and use a signature file for my emails

• What a BCC and CC are and how they can be useful for emails

• I thought i knew what a LMS and UI were, however i only knew the bare minimum and realized there was much more to them than i thought.

These are some photos of what I did in Unit 0, the first one is of my finished notebook setup, and the second one is of my signature for my school email.

Reflect

Overall Unit 0 was fun and showed me this class will teach me things i will use in my everyday life.
