Environmental awareness and responsible waste management are essential values that TaySenHigh YES-O strives to instill among students. As part of our initiatives, we have prepared Bokashi compost using organic waste collected within the school. Proper disposal of the compost at Tres Escallon Falls, a natural ecosystem in our community, provides an opportunity to extend environmental stewardship beyond the school campus.
The primary beneficiaries of this activity are the members of our community, as well as our students and school. Specifically:
1. Local community residents around Tres Escallon Falls and the surrounding drive, who will benefit from a cleaner and safer environment.
2. YES-O members and student volunteers, who will gain hands-on experience in environmental stewardship, teamwork, and community service.
3. Taytay Senior High School, by promoting its mission of responsible and engaged students.
