Serving Albemarle county and surrounding areas.
How did I become a renovator? I spent fifteen years in the career for which I went to grad school, but kept feeling the tug to venture a different path. I had always bought fixer-uppers for my personal homes. With a budget that didn't allow room for hiring help, I gained skills across the trades. As a single mom, being my own boss had its appeal because I needed to clock out in time to get the kids from the bus stop and to their sports practices all around town. So I made the leap to change careers, start a business, and make an impact in my field.
I've spent years in male-dominated industries, trying to prove I am the same; now I embrace that I'm different. The experiences I've had made me want to build a company that encouraged women like me to go into the trades.
I work hard, and meticulously. I see spaces for what they can be, with mindfulness for form and function. I can work miracles with budgets, and collaborate with home owners. I'm passionate about a workplace environment that is nurturing to professional and personal growth, inclusive, family-friendly, and respectful to the clients we serve.
We specialize in renovations, which restores the structure and space.
