I am currently a graduate student doing Masters in Industrial Engineeing from IMSE, West Virginia University. I am also working as a Graduate Research Assistant in WVU Pollution Prevention Program. I completed my undergraduate in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) from IPE, BUET in 2025. ThereI have been able to indulge into Operations Research, supply chain management, quality control, maintenance practices, safety management, among others.
I had the chance to work on data augmentation methods to improve downstream prediction on imbalanced tabular datasets. I deployed novel methods based on latent space diffusion models to augment data using minority class oversampling. It is during this project when I got hands on experience in machine learning and its own constraints that can be solved through modern deep learning methods and gererative AI. I also have firsthand experience in engineering design projects in SolidWorks, Catia, Autocad,Ansys Simulation, where I used analytical thinking to model real-life problems.
Currently, I love spending my free time learning new things in the field of statistical Learning and Reinforcement Learning. I am particularly interested in exploring how these techniques can be applied to energy systems, such as intelligent grid control, demand management, and digital twins.
