About Me

Hi again! I'm Tawakalt.👋🏽

I'm a product designer based in Lagos, Nigeria fueled by my passion for employing empathy in creating accessible, useful, and beautiful world-class products that impact users.

Studying Consumer Science with a focus on clothing and textiles birthed my interest in the well-being of consumers and their interaction with products and their environment. After school, I worked as a social media manager for 2 years which provided me with a balanced outlook on the perspective of service and product providers and also, the perspective of users.

Putting users first has been the core of my education and career. It was no surprise that UI/UX Design resonated with me - the crossroad of art, humanity, engineering, and psychology.

When I am not pondering about designing the perfect product, I thrive on learning new things, listening to podcasts, reading books, and watching anime.
