Hossein Tavazoni-Zadeh is a performance maker, educator, and researcher. His practice often brings together Cultural Memory Studies and creative exploration to examine the memory of place, nostalgia, and the social issues tied to images of the past. He has lectured and led workshops in both academic and artistic contexts in France, the Netherlands, and Iran, and has collaborated on a variety of productions as a writer, dramaturge, and stage designer. Hossein is in the final phase of his PhD at the University of Groningen, where his research examines how media and fiction shape the memory of built environments and invest them with emotional resonance.
