Hello, my name is Kim Zapata, and I am excited to begin this school year as your new PTA president. Although this role is new at Taunton, it’s not new to me—I previously served as PTO/A president at LOP & Newbury and have been actively involved in our schools for the past 7 years.

I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, and my husband, Chris, works as a Field Technician for Verizon. We have two energetic boys: Cayden(12), who is a 6th grader, and Gavin(9), who is in 4th grade here at Taunton. We’ve lived in Howell for 9 years and have come to love the community and the amazing friends we’ve made along the way.

Much of my time is spent driving my boys to practices, games, and various activities with their friends—I’m their biggest fan! I also enjoy entertaining family and friends, attending concerts, and soaking up the summer months.

I look forward to meeting and working alongside both new and returning Taunton families. Together, we can make the 2024-2025 school year memorable and fun for our children!

Hello! My name is Marisa Paulsen, and I am the Treasurer this year for the Taunton School PTA. I have previously served as Treasurer for Newbury School and Middle School North, as well as VP at Newbury, and committee chair for various events at LOP and Newbury. I am a boy mom of 3; Daniel who is 10 yo and redistricted this year to Taunton and will be in 5th grade, he previously attended Newbury, Michael in 8th grade who attends Middle School North; and Matthew who is starting his first year of college!

I currently work full time as an administrator for an Early Childhood Therapy Services company. My husband Keith and I have lived in Howell for 20 years and both grew up in North Jersey. We love the Howell community and are happy to be raising our family here. We participate and volunteer in sport recreation activities in town as well.

I am looking forward to being a part of the PTA to assist Taunton School transitioning to K-5. I look forward to meeting new faces and seeing some familiar ones too. We hope to keep some traditions for all the students they have become accustomed to, and create some new ones to with some fresh ideas.

Hi! My name is Martha Pasznik, and this is my third year serving as corresponding secretary for Taunton. Previous to that, I was Recording Secretary for Taunton. I have two boys, Michael and William, in 4th and 1st grade respectively. Both boys are active, and have more interests than Mom can keep up with :) You can usually catch us at Pinelanders or Art Beins. 

As for me, I'm into gardening, traveling, reading, music, biking, hiking, sometimes trash TV, Legos, and generally trying to stay outside. To keep the lights on, I work full time as a Director of Product at a software company. We've been in Howell 13+ years and love it here. 

This year will be a change for all of us, and I'm looking forward to helping with the transition. We'll all be doing the best we can to make this a great year for our Eagles!

Hi, my name is Jules Huebner and I am excited to join the Taunton School PTA. Before coming to Taunton, I served as Treasurer for Land O’Pines PTO. I participated in multiple events both as chairperson and as a volunteer since we became a part of the Howell community almost 5 years ago.  

My husband, Paul and I moved to Howell from Sayreville(originally from NY) with our two children. We love it here and are so happy to call it home. I am currently a stay at home mom to our son Jacob, who is in 4th grade and our daughter, Rachel who is in 1st grade. 

We are all excited to meet new friends and see some old ones too. We look forward to a great year for all of us!
